About the Rector
The Rector is the spiritual leader of the parish and is called to lead, inspire, and care for the congregation. The Rector will provide pastoral care, oversee worship and preaching, and work collaboratively with lay leadership to support the mission and ministries of the church.

The Rector's responsibilities include:
Spiritual Leadership & Worship
• Lead Sunday worship services and preach regularly
• Administer the Sacraments in accordance with Episcopal tradition
• Plan meaningful, engaging liturgy
• Encourage spiritual growth within the congregation
Pastoral Care
• Provide compassionate pastoral care to parishioners
• Visit members in homes, hospitals, and care facilities
• Offer guidance during times of joy, crisis, and transition
Parish Leadership & Administration
• Collaborate with the Vestry and church leadership
• Oversee church staff and volunteers
• Support stewardship and financial health of the parish
• Ensure effective communication within the congregation
Christian Formation
• Promote and support programs for children, youth, and adults
• Encourage lifelong learning and faith development
Community Engagement & Outreach
• Build relationships within the Cleveland community
• Lead and support outreach and service initiatives
• Represent the church in the wider Diocese and community
Qualifications
• Ordained priest in the Episcopal Church (or eligible for transfer)
• Strong preaching and teaching ability
• Demonstrated pastoral care experience
• Collaborative leadership style
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to growing and sustaining parish life
