Meet Community Bible Church
Community Bible Church is a diverse family of believers striving for unity amidst a wide variety of backgrounds and traditions. Similar to Baskin Robbins because of the many different “flavors” of people and perspectives represented, the congregation comes together as a non-denominational body where everyone is welcome. Whether members are full-time or part-time or seasonal visitors to the Highlands area, the church fosters an atmosphere of warmth where individuals from all walks of life can find a spiritual home and a genuine sense of belonging.
At its core, the church identifies as a gathering of believers who think, and thinkers who believe, prioritizing a deep engagement with Scripture and truth above everything else. This community is passionate about sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ, cultivating a caring environment where members look out for one another and seek spiritual depth. They embrace a Spirit-filled life that encourages freedom and spontaneity in worship, aiming to meet people exactly where they are while challenging them to grow in their faith and personal response to truth.
The relational heartbeat of the church is driven by a desire to nurture people and create genuine connections. Because of its unique location as a destination area, the church serves as a flexible and creative hub where families, retirees, part-time residents, and visitors alike can connect meaningfully with God and each other. Ultimately, CBC seeks to be a place where people can “taste and see that the Lord is good,” marked by a spirit of excellence, humility, and joy in their shared journey.
About the Worship Pastor/Director
The Worship Pastor/Director at Community Bible Church serves as a pastoral leader responsible for shepherding the congregation into biblical worship that goes beyond musical performance to facilitate a genuine encounter with truth. The right leader will bring musical leadership and creative direction to guide the family of believers into Christ-centered worship. Collaborating closely with the Senior Pastor and media team, this leader plans and prepares gatherings designed to foster authenticity, excellence, and active congregational engagement. The role calls for a spiritually mature individual who can lead with spontaneity and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, blending various musical traditions to help a diverse congregation encounter God in unity and joy. Beyond the platform, this person will be dedicated to recruiting and developing musicians, vocalists, and volunteers, cultivating a culture of excellence and unity, mentoring younger generations and growing the overall understanding and culture of worship.
