Meet Reformed Benefits Association
Reformed Benefits Association (RBA) is a 100% faith-based non-profit organization formed in 2014 as a joint project between the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA) and the Reformed Church in America (RCA). RBA provides pastors, church staff, and their leadership teams with competitively priced, comprehensive health insurance plans. Serving over 1,200 members across the country, RBA manages all contracts and vendor relationships for health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. By providing personalized insurance service, RBA eases the burden of making insurance decisions so that ministry leaders can focus on furthering the Kingdom of God.

About the CEO
This newly created CEO role is vital to RBA's success and repositioning. While RBA has a strong heritage of quality service, membership has declined in recent years due to congregational shifts. The RBA Board has determined that new CEO leadership is needed to reverse this decline by prioritizing strategic growth, marketing, and the expansion of RBA’s impact with the CRC, RCA, and other like-minded Christian ministries. The CEO will assume primary responsibility for strategy, growth, development, financial management, marketing, and organizational success.

The CEO's responsibilities include:
- Deliver leadership that is committed to the success of mission-driven, authentic Christian ministry.
- Stabilize, retain, and increase enrollment by advancing quality health and welfare benefit products to faith-based organizations.
- Oversee and manage RBA’s financial stability through prudent financial management, reporting practices, and controls.
- Ensure the delivery of continued, high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
- Maintain effective communication with the RBA Board of Trustees and leadership of the CRC, RCA, and the Board of Benefits Services
- Provide leadership to the RBA team, supervising the Director who manages day-to-day operations, vendor negotiations, and plan administration.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA, Medicare, and other federal and state regulations.
