Meet Renovation Church

Renovation Church serves as a vibrant hub for spiritual growth and community engagement. Renovation offers two engaging services featuring high-energy worship, practical Bible teaching, authentic testimonies, and warm hospitality. With a mission to “reach every man, woman, and child” in the community, the church emphasizes relational outreach and fostering a sense of spiritual belonging.

Beyond weekend services, Renovation Church is deeply committed to family ministry and local outreach. Programs like kids’ environments, student camps, and media/film training equip various age groups to engage creatively and spiritually. In all that it does, Renovation strives to be “for families, community, and partnerships,” translating faith into practical impact and belonging for everyone who walks through its doors.


About the Student Pastor

As our Student Pastor, you’ll lead middle and high school students into a growing relationship with Jesus while building relationships with parents and equipping volunteers to do the same.

IMPORTANT: This isn’t a siloed role—you’ll be part of a close-knit, collaborative Next Gen team that’s all-in on reaching our community and serving together.

The Student Pastor’s responsibilities include:

Lead and Disciple Students

  • Create and oversee weekly small group experience that creates a place for students to belong and grow in their faith. 
  • Work with a team to plan and execute a once per month large group night designed to reach those who are not plugged into a local church and empower those that are. 
  • Build authentic relationships with students and walk with them through life and faith.

Equip and Lead Volunteers

  • Build a healthy, growing team of Leaders/Volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of the next generation. 
  • Create systems for care, communication, and leadership development.

Partner with Parents

  • Provide consistent and clear communication with families to champion their role. 
  • Equip parents as the primary spiritual influencers in their students’ lives.
  • Create environments and resources that support families in discipleship.

What you bring

The following describes many of the characteristics of the ideal candidate for the Student Pastor:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years of applicable experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A healthy and growing relationship with Jesus and a love for the local Church. 
  • At least 5 years of experience leading in student ministry.
  • Strong communication and relational skills
  • Ability to lead teams and manage details
  • A collaborative, humble spirit and a willingness to keep learning
  • A desire to plant roots in Hampstead/Wilmington and invest long-term in the lives of students and families
