Meet Revolution Church

Revolution Church is a vibrant, non-denominational, Spirit-filled church located in Maryville, Tennessee. Founded in 2007 with just 39 people, Revolution has grown into a thriving community reaching approximately 1,800 people each week. Known for its welcoming “come as you are” culture, the church is deeply committed to outreach, generosity, discipleship, and life transformation. From serving families throughout Blount County to reaching individuals in correctional facilities across the country, Revolution lives out its mission of preaching the gospel, making disciples, and serving the community.

About the Youth Pastor

The Youth Pastor at Revolution Church will lead the spiritual growth and discipleship of middle and high school students while building a strong, relational student ministry. This leader will oversee a thriving Wednesday night gathering of approximately 80–100 students and develop a team of 25+ adult volunteers who are passionate about investing in the next generation.

As part of Revolution’s unified Family Ministry model, the Youth Pastor will work closely with church leadership, families, and Revolution Christian Academy to create meaningful connections and seamless transitions throughout each stage of a student’s spiritual development.

The Youth Pastor's responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop engaging weekly student gatherings that incorporate worship, biblical teaching, small groups, and opportunities for spiritual response.
• Recruit, train, equip, and care for a team of 25+ adult volunteer leaders.
• Provide biblically grounded, relevant teaching while developing additional student and volunteer communicators.
• Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, volunteers, and families.
• Maintain an active pastoral presence at Revolution Christian Academy through chapel services, prayer, student support, and collaboration with faculty and administration.
• Plan and execute camps, retreats, mission trips, and other discipleship opportunities.
• Manage the student ministry calendar, annual budget, communications, social media, and ministry-related technology.
• Collaborate with the broader Family Ministry team to maintain alignment across children’s, student, and young adult ministries.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; seminary education is not required.
• 3+ years of successful student ministry experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading a growing student ministry and developing a strong adult volunteer team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• A leader of leaders who equips, empowers, and delegates effectively.
• Strong relational and communication skills with the ability to connect with students, parents, volunteers, and church leadership.
• Highly organized with experience managing calendars, budgets, events, and ministry logistics.
• Comfortable utilizing social media, presentation technology, and tools such as ProPresenter.
• Able to address complex cultural and spiritual issues with biblical conviction, wisdom, and compassion.

We have 4 seasons, but mild winters so plenty of opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and traveling.
