WEEKLY ATTENDANCE: 900-1,000

Meet Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church

We are a thriving family of believers committed to mobilizing the next generation to live a life on mission for Christ, loving and serving our local community with mercy, care, and compassion, and equipping our church to share the gospel so others discover new life in Christ. As disciples of Jesus, we worship, serve, connect, and continually seek fresh ways to reach others with the good news. And along the way, we love to share joy and laughter together.

We are a unique combination of Reformed, Spirit-filled, and Egalitarian. We highly value biblical teaching and preaching, we invite the Holy Spirit to empower and equip us with gifts for Christ’s kingdom, and we believe God calls both men and women to serve in every role of the church. We are part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, a denomination that is missional, evangelical, and committed to reaching our neighbors and the world for Jesus. We believe this combination is rare—and if you share these commitments, you will feel at home at Chapel Hill.

Chapel Hill has transitioned from two separate worship services with distinct styles to one unified service. Our goal is to create a worship expression that connects with the next generation—especially young families—while honoring the faithful roots of our church. We value the richness of Christian tradition and seek to give it a modern voice, expressed with authenticity and sincerity. Our desire is that people of all ages encounter the living God in worship that is both genuine and transformative.

Looking ahead, our prayer is to see Gig Harbor and the surrounding communities deeply transformed by the work of God. We long to be a church whose absence would be profoundly felt, because our presence brings hope, care, and the good news of Jesus. We envision individuals equipped and sent to share Christ in every sphere of life, students leaving Chapel Hill with a vibrant faith that shapes their future, and thousands discovering new life in Christ. We know this vision can only be realized by God’s power, and so we continually depend on Him to bring renewal and revival in our midst.
