Meet The Bridge Fellowship

The Bridge is a 1250+ person church that launched in August 2020. We long to see a gospel movement that reaches every person in the Hill Country and is carried to the ends of the earth. Our approach is simple: love people and faithfully preach God’s word. In almost 5 years, we have experienced rapid growth, and our team is expanding. In 2023, we purchased 18 acres of land and are expecting to break ground on our new building by early 2026

About the Executive Pastor

As an elder and strategic leader, the Executive Pastor will provide oversight for the daily operations, staff leadership, and ministry alignment of our 1,200+ member church plant. Partnering closely with the Lead Pastor, this role ensures that every ministry team moves in unity toward our vision: “To see a gospel movement that reaches every person of the Hill Country and is carried to the ends of the Earth.”

The Executive Pastor will lead and support all ministry departments—BridgeKids, BridgeStudents, BridgeAdults, Worship, Communications, and Operations—by driving accountability, alignment, and excellence. He will also champion staff health and morale, steward financial resources through the budgeting process, and help execute major initiatives that advance the mission.

The Executive Pastor's responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate regular staff meetings, goal setting, and performance reviews.
  • Promote spiritual, emotional, and professional growth among the team.

Vision Alignment and Ministry Oversight

  • Provide clarity of direction, remove obstacles, and ensure effective communication across departments.
  • Partner with the Lead Pastor in developing and executing church-wide initiatives.

Financial Stewardship

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and oversee financial accountability across ministries.
  • Monitor and manage church resources with transparency and integrity.
  • Partner with elders and staff to ensure financial decisions support long-term vision.

Organizational Health and Accountability

  • Build and sustain healthy systems, policies, and rhythms that foster growth and stability.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and ethical standards.
  • Encourage a high-trust environment through clear communication and shared accountability.

Elder Leadership

  • Serve as an elder, helping guide the spiritual health, theological fidelity, and missional direction of the church.
  • Shepherd the congregation in partnership with other elders.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • The staff and ministry leaders are thriving spiritually, emotionally, and professionally, with high morale and strong unity.
  • All ministry areas are operating in alignment with the church’s vision, showing measurable growth and gospel impact.
  • The church’s resources are stewarded wisely, with budgets that reflect strategic priorities and financial health.
  • Systems, processes, and structures are in place to sustain growth and accountability.
  • The congregation experiences clarity, health, and joy as the church pursues its mission together.
  • The Lead Pastor is freed to focus on preaching, vision, and shepherding, confident that execution and organizational leadership are handled with excellence.
