Meet Cottonwood Creek Church
The story of Cottonwood Creek Church began with a dedicated group of believers in McKinney who established Mount Olive Baptist Church. This vibrant congregation quickly became a pillar in the community. As the church flourished, it made a decision to relocate, seeking a new home in Fairview. A new facility was built, and the congregation continued to grow, necessitating further moves to accommodate this growth.
A significant moment arrived when the church felt called to their current, expansive location off a major highway in Allen. The inaugural service at this new campus welcomed a vast community, signaling a new chapter of growth and outreach. With this move, the Cottonwood Creek Church again experienced remarkable growth in attendance and new ministries. The church's journey of faith continued with the construction of a dedicated worship center, a place central to its mission of preaching, prayer, praise, and community engagement.
Today, Cottonwood Creek Church remains a vibrant and active community, deeply committed to its foundational calling: to love God and to love others, reaching out to the community with open arms. Simply stated, this is the place of preaching, prayer, praise, adoration, evangelism, and outreach to the community.
